COVID-19 Update: Brook House Farm Caravan & Camping Site
COVID-19 Update - Tuesday 24th June
Following the Government’s announcement regarding certain tourism sectors re-opening, we are delighted to confirm that Brook House Farm Caravan & Camping Site will open again on Saturday 4th July. We’re so excited to see many familiar faces and welcome new ones too! We’ve had some wonderfully supportive messages, and many people have been in touch to express their desire to visit us as soon as possible. Whilst we’re of course excited, our main focus is to ensure the safety of all our guests. We will continue to closely follow Government guidance, and also act in line with advice from the Camping and Caravanning Club.
To ensure your stay with us is enjoyable, relaxing and safe we have implemented the following measures:
Online bookings will remain suspended
We want to ensure all guests have direct contact with us so we can discuss any requirements and provide necessary information/reassurance ahead of booking. We will continue to monitor enquiries made through our website and Facebook page, but for any booking requests we kindly ask that you call us on 07812 728 688.
2 metre social distancing will remain in place
The Government guidance states that if businesses can operate using 2 metre social distancing then they should continue to do so. As we are in this position, we would like all guests to keep a minimum distance of 2 metres from other guests and staff. To make this easier we will be running the site at reduced capacity.
The toilets and shower block will remain closed
After careful consideration we’ve decided it is not yet practical or wholly safe to re-open these facilities.
We’re aware that to some, re-opening with these measures in place may seem unnecessary, but as the Government has stated, lifting the lockdown will be a gradual process. Whilst we don’t want to enforce these measures for longer than necessary, we equally don’t want to rush getting things back to normal before it’s safe to do so. Your safety will always be our number one priority, so your patience is hugely appreciated.
If you have any questions please do get in touch. We hope to see you soon, and as always, please do stay safe.
Janette and Stephen
